Dekaron SEA, Vouchers! Vouchers!

18 09 2008

I’m a new player. I’m not really a fan of game guides.. I read them, I just don’t “memorize” them. I just look for the basics..

Meaning: isa akong NOOB πŸ™‚

Anyhoo… Those green vouchers that you loot when you’re grinding at low level maps like parca… and those red vouchers that you start looting once you reach East Parca ( Praus mobs etc.)… We know 10 of those will make a fortress map for Chain of Fire, when exchanged at one of the NPCs at LOA ( well I’m from LOA.. malamang there’s one in Braiken)

I just found out that i can mix those vouchers and get random items.. At first i thought it was just that wine pots that Dan, gave me.

Off to North Morte with my vouchers, I searched for the NPC named… MMm.. darn i forgot.. Its on the right side right after the wall on North Morte, the one with a lot of NPCs.. name starts with N.

I exchanged 100 red vouchers first ( FREE ) and got a feather. And did the same for my green vouchers and got another feather.

Since I wanted the “wine” pots, I donated supplies again smaller quantity and got something else. So I donated and donated. and I got random stuff, which I find really cool.. one looks like a pizza πŸ™‚

Well.. GO MIX AND MATCH GUYS! its fun!.. well… now im short 2 feathers… πŸ™‚ i was clicking away.. eagerly waiting for what new goodie was up next…

Gotta loot me some more of those vouchers!

**i made a very well, grade schoolish jpeg of the items.. cut and paste and a little bit of erasing happened.. still looks messy to me.. but heck.. those are the items randomly created using vouchers…

DIL Farming

14 09 2008

We need money.DIL. Based on experience, it’s actually easy to farm DIL.

One is to never neglect monster drops, especially those weapons. I often see weapons lying around maps. This should not be the case.. Well, my opinion. Some weapons sell for 30,000 DIL and that’s a huge sum for your savings!

Oftentimes, I earn around 200,000 to 300 thousand per pots. This is grinding in Castor 2nd Fl, Parca East and Crespo. I don’t really travel that much to other maps..

Another good way to farm DIL, is to take the Commission Quests. Which can be found at the Parca Temple. Look for Parca Commission Center.

You’ll see different quests per level. And you can repeat them as many times you like!

Yeah you pay a hefty sum just to take the quest, but hey, the rewards aren’t that bad.

It’s gambling if you ask me. But while you level your chars, you loot drops and you take quests once you’re done, you can get different rewards..

Hope you check it out.. Again: COMMISSION QUESTS : can be repeated.. and it helps your guild ranking go up because Aventure Points are also earned!

Happy Farming!

Stuck at 50!

11 09 2008

I played for a couple of days and reached lvl 50.

And I’ve been stuck at that lvl for hmm… longer than I should be!

Well.. Please don’t judge me, I AM A PLAY-A-HOLIC. It’s just that, I’m preoccupied with work that I can’t really play four hours and hours these days…

I stay at the market place near Salvator and sell items for DIL o_O though…
I have my suppliers for my “bentable items” … there’s Nanhad.. and there’s Dan… for now 2 is enough..

Both are certified addicts that my market characterS, take note plural, are almost full o_O

As I type away and blog about Dekaron the two are probably…. 20 levels or more higher than me..

*sigh*

Dekaron SEA

11 09 2008

I am addicted.PERIOD.

Mobius launched the Open Beta Test (OBT) of Dekaron Sea last Sept. 3, 2008 and boy was I excited! Not being a 2moons player, I participated in the Closed Beta (CBT) Testing with gusto.

Coming from the game MU(online) Philippines, the graphics was a bit shocking for me, making me feel nauseated at first but was able to adjust quickly.

Don’t hate me for comparing the two. But trust me when I say, I am still in love with the game, MU Phil. Though I may not be as active as I was before, I still visit the game and “play” (chat, DS, BC, AFK) my chars. But since the changes… things are different.. and that’s for another pending post..

Back to the topic..

Dekaron Sea for me is like a step towards more complicated game plays. I’ve gotten used to just plainly leveling up my characters and clicking points to harness my skills and hunt sets to make my char pretty..

With Dekaron Sea I still do the same things, but I get to choose what “kind” from the wide arrays of skills that the characters have.

Let’s use my chosen character for the OBT, a Segita Hunter. I can pick from a “bow type” and a “dagger type”

Having around 4 agility elves in MU Online, I opted for a dagger type Segita Hunter. Being able to harness my speed and my powerful Silent Killer Skill, I am able to level up fast, and interact more with the mobs, which keeps me on my toes, ready to press F1 (slot used for HP Potion) so I wouldn’t die when going one on one with the higher mobs..

I have to learn more about the game though. I still have to learn how to PK (Player Kill) other players… hehe

If you guys like playing online games, this is really great! You should try it.
